I started out in 2004 as a production manager at Cake Film, then moved agency side as Lead Agency Producer at Euro RSCG and Head of TV at Publicis Amsterdam. Since 2013 I’ve worked freelance as a producer and Executive Producer for brands, agencies and production companies at home and abroad, from global adidas campaigns at TBWA\Neboko to VanMoof.

Along the way I learned that great work comes from great teams. That’s where my focus lies today: building and leading production teams. At ASN Bank I set up the in-house production function from scratch. At Rituals I oversee production operations for a global brand agency.

More and more brands are bringing creative production in-house. They need someone who knows how agencies, production companies and suppliers work, and how to make that run inside a brand. That’s exactly where my experience on both sides of the table pays off. I lead by finding what each person is good at, giving them the confidence to take the lead, and keeping it fun along the way. And I question the traditional way of producing when there’s a better one: leaner setups, direct partnerships with the best specialist suppliers, and workflows that save time and money without losing quality.
